I troppi calci di punizione subiti, la maggior parte dei quali discutibili, hanno fatto si che la partita diventasse nervosa e di conseguenza la poca lucidità degli udinesi non ha permesso di trovare il giusto spirito per recuperare il risultato. Il rammarico è stato quello di non essere riusciti a schierare la migliore formazione contro la capolista: le assenze per infortuni, specialmente nel reparto dei trequarti, hanno obbligato i tecnici Furlanich, Colautti e D’Anna a schierare una linea inedita che non è riuscita ad essere determinante. “Bisogna far tesoro dalla seconda sconfitta in campionato e continuare a lavorare per fare crescere ulteriormente questo gruppo di ragazzi che lavora con dedizione e serietà, in uno spogliatoio coeso e unito” – è stato questo il commento, a fine partita, del tecnico Colautti.
