Nelle fasi d’attacco si sono preferite le linee verticali al gioco aperto, ottenendo buoni risultati specialmente quando il sostegno si è inserito.
Prestazione in chiaro-scuro per l’under 12, forse a causa del format usato per il raggruppamento (cinque partite spezzate in due tempi di soli sei minuti): i ragazzi della junior hanno alternato sprazzi di buon gioco a momenti di vero e proprio blackout. Ad esclusione del San Donà, squadra molto compatta e diligente, confermatasi ad un livello molto alto, le altre squadre erano sembrate alla portata dei ragazzi targati Udine Rugby Junior. La scarsa concentrazione e la poca cattiveria agonistica, dimostrata solo a tratti, hanno pesato parecchio sui risultati finali. Da segnalare, in ogni caso, la bella meta segnata contro un ostico Pordenone, a coronamento di un’azione multifase: segno che ci sono miglioramenti sul piano del gioco collettivo, anche se accompagnati da un piccolo passo indietro sull’aggressività.
