Gli under 8 si sono scontrati subito con il Conegliano A, con cui hanno perso, ma i Tuttineri hanno sempre cercato di mantenere compatta ed aggressiva  la difesa, impegnandosi, con gran carattere, fino alla fine. La seconda partita, contro i Grifoni Oderzo, è stata giocata con grande intensità da entrambe le squadre che hanno placcato e corso fino all’ultimo nonostante la pesantezza del terreno. I bambini si sono dimostrati partecipi dall’inizio alla fine della partita L’ultimo incontro ha visto i friulani confrontarsi contro il Conegliano B.  In questo caso la Udine Rugby Junior ha portato a casa un “ottimo risultato” evidenziando progressi soprattutto dal punto di vista tecnico, in particolare nelle fasi difensive. I piccoli udinesi stanno iniziando a riconoscere gli spazi e a dimostrare sempre più capacità nel coprire tutto il campo, con buoni esempi di cooperazione e pregevoli placcaggi.
Bene l’under 10 che nei doppi confronti con Conegliano e Oderzo ha dimostrato una crescita del gruppo che ha consentito di disputare partite dalla grande intensità. In particolare nelle prime due gare con Oderzo/1 e Conegliano/1 si è vista un buona combattività sui punti d’incontro e attenzione alle fasi difensive che ha determinato una lotta accesa per la conquista del pallone. Nelle fasi d’attacco le cose migliori si sono viste nel gioco aperto, con buona occupazione dello spazio e trasmissione del pallone, anche se è mancata ancora un po’ di profondità. Con due vittorie ottenute con l’Oderzo e due sconfitte con il Conegliano, di cui una di misura con gli avversari che hanno chiuso la partita a proprio favore solo grazie all’ultima azione, la prestazione dei Tuttineri udinesi è da ritenersi soddisfacente e ben augurante per il prosieguo.
La prima partita per i Tuttineri under 12 è stata con i padroni di casa dell’Oderzo. I giovani atleti udinesi hanno dato l’impressione di essere in buona giornata e con la giusta aggressività e un’intelligente possesso di palla hanno chiuso il primo tempo sul pareggio. Peccato che dopo l’intervallo la lucidità sia venuta meno e che i Grifoni ne abbiano approfittato, portandosi a casa la vittoria. L’occasione del riscatto ci poteva essere nella partita con il Conegliano A, in cui le due formazioni sono sembrate essere sullo stesso livello, ma alla lunga, la pressione costante degli avversari, ha mandato in totale confusione gli udinesi che non sono stati capaci di reagire alle mete segnate dagli avversari. Infine, l’incontro con il Conegliano B è stato di quelli a senso unico, con i veneti più bravi a gestire il possesso e i friulani troppo rinunciatari.
