Il Pasian procede alla sostituzione dei giocatori maggiormente provati e, nonostante i cambi, tiene in mano il pallino del gioco, proponendosi costantemente in avanti. Al 22’ il capolavoro: innescato da una rapida intesa fra l’apertura Bombonati e i ¾, da una punizione, invece di guadagnare una touche dentro i 22 del Gemona, parte un attacco improvviso, con un doppio incrocio finalizzato, in mezzo ai pali, dall’onnipresente Lentini (12 a 38). Da lì in avanti le Linci controllano la partita, ma a sei minuti dal termine i padroni di casa approfittano di una disattenzione del Pasian e segnano la terza meta, fissando il risultato sul finale 19 a 38. A completamento della cronaca la rissa in campo viene risolta dall’arbitro con un cartellino giallo e uno rosso; le strette di mano e il terzo tempo concludono degnamente l’incontro.
