Contro un avversario mai domo, le Linci, ben schierate in campo, peccano di qualche sbavatura in fase conclusiva, sprecando così l’occasione per chiudere i giochi nei primi quaranta minuti, chiusi sul 22-7.

LA PARTITA. Da subito il Montereale fa capire di essere sceso a valle determinato a vincere. E il gioco si fa duro. Le Linci, però, mostrano di aver assimilato bene il superlavoro svolto in settimana, reggendo in modo positivo l’attacco sia sui punti d’incontro sia nelle fasi statiche. Al 4’ prima smossa al punteggio con un piazzato di Bombonati, al termine di un’azione di alcuni minuti nei 22 avversari. Pressione insistita e concretizzata otto minuti dopo con una splendida meta di Colabelli (8-0). Il copione non cambia e al 25’ capitan Montorfano schiaccia in meta di prepotenza; Bombonati trasforma (15-0). Il Montereale accusa il colpo e un minuto dopo viene colpito da una splendida azione dei tre quarti pasianesi, finalizzata sotto i pali dall’estremo Della Rossa. Bombonati trasforma per il 22-0. Manca meno di un quarto d’ora alla fine del primo tempo e le Linci continuano ad attaccare, ma con minore lucidità, vanificando un paio di limpide occasioni. Il Montereale risolleva la testa, comincia a macinare il suo gioco verticale e corona gli sforzi con una meta trasformata quasi in chiusura di tempo (22-7). Dopo il riposo, si riparte con un Montereale arrembante, mentre le Linci tentennano. Al 7’ arriva la terza meta trasformata dagli ospiti.
