Per quanto riguarda l’under 10, tre sono state le partite disputate e quella con lo Junior Rugby Team è stata la più combattuta: seppur sconfitti, gli udinesi hanno dato prova di carattere e determinazione. Purtroppo alla buona combattività evidenziata nelle fase di riconquista non è seguita una lucida gestione del pallone e, con la pressione degli avversari, i friulani non sono riusciti nelle ripartenze. Le due vittorie conseguite negli altri incontri sono state il frutto di un gioco che ha saputo sfruttare bene gli spazi lasciati dagli avversari.
In under 12 dal punto di vista dei risultati le cose non sono andate molto bene anche se comunque nelle tre partite disputate i ragazzi sono apparsi determinati e volenterosi di giocarsi al meglio gli incontri. La prima gara, persa con il Rugby Team, ha evidenziato delle difficoltà di tenuta sui raggruppamenti a causa di una miglior prestanza ed esperienza degli avversari. Nella successiva, quella con il Portogruaro, la sconfitta è venuta principalmente dalla poca lucidità, trascinati in un gioco caotico dai veneti, nel confronto coj gli avversari gli udinesi non hanno saputo sfruttare al meglio le proprie caratteristiche atletiche e di trasmissione del pallone. La terza partita, con il Riviera, i ragazzi di Tosolini e Casarsa sono entrati in campo nervosi, subendo anche in questo caso la superiorità fisica degli avversari, che ha forse intimorito, soprattutto i nuovi atleti, ne è conseguito un gioco povero di placcaggi e di fasi di conquista. In settimana tutte le categorie del minirugby si ritroveranno in campo per lavorare sui propri limiti e preparare al meglio la prossima uscita al Trofeo di Conegliano
