La categoria Under 8 si è presentata all’appuntamento con due formazioni ben determinate e combattive, pochi i placcaggi mancati e tante le occasioni da meta che hanno entusiasmato giocatori e pubblico presente. Soddisfatto il Presidente e allenatore Under 8, Riccardo Cittaro nel constatare come gli allenamenti invernali cominciano a dare i loro frutti.
Giornata positiva per la Under 10 che nonostante la sconfitta subita ad opera del Conegliano ha visto i tuttineri udinesi reagire ed uscire vittoriosi con il Venjulia Rugby Trieste e le Api Isontine. Orgogliosa dei suoi atleti la giovane allenatrice Martina Forgiarini che ha sottolineato come per tutti i bambini si siano visti miglioramenti nei rapporti di squadra e nelle capacità individuali.
Continua la fase positiva dei giovani Under 12 usciti vincenti da tutti gli incontri disputati. Distribuzione in campo, pressione e avanzamento sono stati gli ingredienti che hanno permesso ai giovani atleti di Leonardo Ticconi di imporre il loro gioco. E domenica prossima sarà tutta un’altra musica, per le categorie minirugby c’è l’appuntamento con il prestigioso Torneo di Mogliano.
A margine una citazione per Matteo, giocatore under 8 di lungo corso, ma a secco di mete, non aveva mai segnato in tutta la sua carriera rugbistica. Le due mete segnate, le sue lacrime di gioia e i compagni che lo festeggiano, sono il premio più grande di uno sport che non finisce mai di stupirci.
