La Udine Rugby Junior è sempre più attiva nelle scuole
Continua l’attività di promozione della palla ovale nelle scuole che, da anni, vede impegnati i tecnici della Udine Rugby Junior. In questa prima fase dell’anno scolastico, sono stati coinvolti gli studenti dell’Istituto comprensivo di Pasian di Prato nell’ambito del ‘progetto scuola’, siglato con la Direzione didattica che vede coinvolte tutte le classi di ogni ordine e grado. In questa prima fase che ha interessato le classi primarie (della scuola Fruch di Pasian di Prato, dell’Ippolito Nievo di Colloredo di Prato e della Marconi di Passons), dopo le lezioni in classe, tutti i bambini sono stati i protagonisti di una grande festa ovale organizzata in due giornate al Polisportivo Comunale di Pasian di Prato, sede della Udine Rugby Junior. Il primo giorno sono stati circa 150 gli alunni delle classi I e II che hanno partecipato alla manifestazione, mentre il giorno successivo con le classi III, IV e V gli alunni sono stati circa 250.
“I numeri ci dicono che stiamo lavorando anche meglio dello scorso anno”, spiega Erio Salvagno, responsabile dell’attività scolastica della Junior. “I bambini si sono divertiti, ma il clima positivo ha coinvolto anche gli insegnati e il dirigente scolastico, che hanno apprezzato l’iniziativa e l’atmosfera, terzo tempo compreso. Ringraziamo l’Amministrazione Comunale e, in particolare l’assessore all’istruzione Antonella La Monica, che ha organizzato il trasporto degli studenti dalle scuole al Polisportivo Comunale. Ora proseguiremo la formazione, per poi passare alla fase delle sfide con le altre scuole, all’interno del circuito coordinato dalla Fir”.
Oltre a Pasian di Prato, la Junior è operativa negli Istituti comprensivi di Tavagnacco e Pagnacco, nelle secondarie di primo grado Tiepolo e Marconi di Udine. A breve, poi, partiranno anche i corsi nelle secondarie di primo grado di Mortegliano e Pasian di Prato e all’Enaip di Pasian di Prato.
