La Junior supera anche il Rugby Piave

Domenica impegnativa per l’Under 16 di Lentini e Giannangeli, che hanno dovuto fare i conti con una sfida tutt’altro che facile contro i veneti del Rugby Piave. Il match si è chiuso sul 22-17 per i friulani che conquistano una vittoria significava per rimanere in corsa per il primo posto. La partita è caratterizzata dal forte agonismo tra le due squadre: il nervosismo fa emergere qualche errore tecnico di troppo e Udine concede qualche spazio in fase difensiva. Il primo tempo è comunque in gran parte controllato dai friulani, che riescono a mettere a segno buone mete.

Nella ripresa i veneti riescono a essere più aggressivi in difensa, concedendo meno spazi alla Junior che, però, è bravissima a sfruttare le occasioni con la superiorità numerica al largo, mettendo a segno le quattro mete necessarie per il punto di bonus. Nel finale, la compagine udinese si rilassa un po’ troppo e consente al Piave una marcatura che dà qualche speranza ai veneti che, però, non riescono più a marcare. La partita finisce meritatamente a favore della Junior Rugby Udine.
