Un’altra sconfitta per i giovani atleti dell’U18 del Rugby Club Pasian di Prato. Domenica i ragazzi allenati da Montarfano e Cittaro hanno incontrato la prima della classe, il Rugby Riviera, che si è imposto per 48-12. I friulani partono concentrati e determinati a mettere in difficoltà la capolista, riuscendoci per 20 minuti, ma senza concretizzare tutta la mole di possesso nei 22 avversari. Il primo tempo finisce sul 5-12 per gli ospiti. Nella ripresa, il Riviera riesce a prendere le misure e, complice l’infortunio a Lussu e il giallo a Cattaneo, i veneziani si fanno più pressanti in attacco, andando a punti ogni volta che ne hanno la possibilità.
Il rammarico dei tecnici friulani sta proprio nel fatto di non essere riusciti a sfruttare al meglio le occasioni nei primi 20 minuti di partita che, giocati con maggiore cinismo, avrebbero dato un altro volto a una buona partita dei giovani pasianesi.
In settimana è stato presentato un nuovo tecnico, Matteo Calcagno, che andrà ad aggiungersi allo staff per continuare il percorso di crescita tecnica dei ragazzi.
