Le difese sono riuscite sempre ad avere la meglio, complice anche il pesantissimo campo, che ha limitato le capacità al gioco aperto dei friulani. Situazione di parità che però è durata poco. I bianconeri, dopo un fase di studio, hanno iniziato a prendere possesso del campo e del gioco, mettendo a segno delle ottime mete corali e di squadra e aprendo la difesa del Mirano, sia con penetrazioni nello stretto che sfruttando la velocità dei tre quarti. Il primo tempo si è chiuso, così, con un buon margine di vantaggio friulano. Prima dell’inizio del secondo tempo l’Udine ha effettuato tutti i cambi a disposizione, ma il risultato non è cambiato e, anzi, i friulani sono riusciti a macinare un bel gioco, che ha divertito i presenti. La partita è finita col risultato di 75 – 0 per i Tuttineri. Da evidenziare la buonissima prestazione dei ragazzi di De Spirt, Lentini e Giannangeli: tutti hanno saputo affrontare la partita con ottima determinazione, commettendo davvero pochi errori in fase di possesso palla. Da non dimenticare anche il positivo esordio di Lorenzo T. e Lorenzo C., che alla prima convocazione in assoluto si sono fatti trovare decisamente pronti.
